On Monday we went to NRH20 water park in North Richland Hills. It was a perfect day to go!! The weather was nice and the park really wasn't that crowded.

We took a cooler with drinks and snacks. We stopped by Subway on our way to the park, but they wouldn't let us take Subway wrappers in (we could have taken sandwiches in, just not sandwiches in Subway wrappers), so we left our cooler in the car until lunch time. Then after we went out of the park and ate our sandwiches by the front gates, we took the cooler in with us. It was kind of weird, but I guess they want you to buy their food if you are going to buy it.

Monday evening, Deanna met up with us and ended up staying the night with us. Deanna, Kelli's older sister, lives in Grand Prairie and works in downtown Dallas. It was nice to see her!
We went to Cavalli's for supper. It was a small quaint place and the pizza was delicious!! It reminded me of the pizza Rod and I got when we traveled to Italy several years ago.
Then we heard a commercial for Monday Night Madness at Main Event so we had to go check it out. They had bowling, laser tag and billiards for $9.95, but the wait was going to be too long. So we bought the $20 game card for $9.95 and played games all night. Another bargain!
Every since Courtney was little and we would go to Chuck E Cheese, she has loved to play the games that give you tickets. And then trade the tickets for prizes. Nothing has changed for this 17 year old. She still likes to play the games that give you the most tickets, and trade them in for prizes. Only thing that is different, is that she is really too big for the prizes that she can get for the amount of tickets she had. So Avery benefited from that. And a man who was leaving gave Courtney his game card that had tickets on it too.
Another fun night!
