This past Friday, a group from our church traveled to Frisco, to watch the Roughriders play. The Frisco Roughriders are the Double-A Affiliate of the Texas Rangers. We have been doing this for several years now and I always look forward to it. It is a very family friendly atmosphere, and the staff interacts with the crowd quite a bit, which makes it more fun..

Hannah and Taylor Jo acting silly
Deanna is working in Dallas this summer doing an internship, so she drove over to the game and met us.

Our group filled up two and a half rows. We had 32 go this year. We missed the Backus and Adams families, but they had already planned their vacation to the Carolina's. And the Turners couldn't make it because they were moving.
We all received free caps with our tickets
Lezlie and Justin trying to catch free t-shirts. They didn't catch one, but Chuck did.
Butler had a good time!

Roughriders WIN!
There was a really nice fireworks show after the game
Cody and Benton
The weather really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We had great seats in the shade, and there was a cool breeze. I think everyone had a great time!
