This past Sunday we received a pretty nice snow for this area. By the time we got out of church, there was a good mixture of sleet and snow that was on the ground. After services, we went over to Earl & Lenita's to eat lunch, and by the time we left there we had several inches of snow on the ground. And the big puffy flakes of snow continued to fall all afternoon. The last time Rod measured, he measured 5 1/2 inches, but it snowed quite a bit more after that, so I am guessing we had at least 7 to 7 1/2 inches of the white stuff.
Here is a picture of one of the Unruh's elk. My husband would not slow down long enough for me to get my camera out of my purse, so this is the best picture I got.On our drive home - Rod ignoring me telling him how to drive
Michael was just glad it wasn't him getting fussed at

I was told that if the snow stays on the ground for 3 days, it is coming back. It was on the ground for 6 days, so we will see if that holds true. Actually, we still have most of the snowman in our backyard, although everything else is pretty much melted away. The snow was very pretty, but I am ready for it to be gone and for warmer weather!
Poppy told the boys the same thing about the snow!! They just want to know when.... :)
