A baby shower for baby Creamer...

My cousin, Tyler, and his wife, Britany, are expecting their first child in May.  They are having a little girl and naming her Avery!  I am so excited that we are going to have a new baby in the family!  Plus, I have several monogrammed outfits that I will be able to share with them :)

My mom and I hosted a shower at my house for the parents to be.

Congratulations Tyler and Britany!  I can not wait to meet your new bundle of joy!!

Happy Birthday Caleb Del

Caleb also had a birthday in February.  From now until June, our kids are 22, 21, 19 and 18 years old.  After Cody's birthday in July, we will have two 22 year olds and two 19 year olds.  Crazy!  For the past couple of months, Caleb and his girlfriend, Brianna, have been coming down every Sunday to go to church and spend the day with us. It has been great to be able to spend time with them!  And there is even talk that eventually they will move to Paris :)

I cooked Caleb his favorite meal of smothered steak and mashed potatoes for supper and baked him his favorite Coca Cola chocolate cake.

Happy Birthday Caleb Del Richardson.  We love you very much!

Happy Birthday Rod D.

Long time no blog.  I have been super busy and haven't taken the time to update my blog.  Since this is my "scrapbook," there were a few things I wanted to be sure and post.

Rod had a birthday a turned another year older.
.
We took advantage of some points I have earned from Marriott Rewards and went over to Grapevine to get away for the weekend.  We had a Saltgrass gift card from Christmas, so we put it to good use.

We went to the mall and walked around.  I don't think we really bought anything.
Sunday morning we went to church in Lewisville.  The preacher there is actually going to be in Blossom this week preaching at our gospel meeting.
After church we went over to Southlake to hang out for a while.  I love the town square.  It is so cool!  We ate lunch at the Cheesecake Factory.
Happy Birthday my love!  Next year is the big 5-0!!  Wow, I will be married to an old man!!

Seniors Valentine Banquet

The youth hosted a Valentine dinner for all the seniors 55 and over last night.  They normally do this at Christmas time, but it was decided everyone might be less busy for Valentine's.  The menu was smothered steak, mashed potatoes, asparagus, salad and rolls with strawberry shortcake for dessert.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the meal!
There was a light snow yesterday afternoon, but it didn't hinder any of these couples from coming to their party.
A little behind the scenes action...
After everyone finished eating, several couples played the Newlywed game.  It was pretty hilarious!

Erin and Hailey made great hostesses!

Good help was not hard to find for clean up.  Evan and Ben were professional dishwashers.
The youth did a great job hosting this event.  And I think everyone there had a great time!

Super Bowl 2014

We invited everyone in our Sunday morning Bible class over to watch the big game on Super Bowl Sunday.  I think we had 25 in all that came.  It was loud, it was wild and it was FUN!

Rod made fun of my decorations...

I was pressed for time, so I had to call in my back up help.  He thought it was funny leaving some big slices of tortilla roll ups.  This is why we could never own a restaurant together.

January Miscellaney

Long time no blog.  January is always a crazy month for me at work.  Seems like I was so busy that I never could find the time to post an entry.  But I wasn't too busy to snap some pictures :)

We enjoyed our last couple of weeks with Michael before he headed back to school...
 had LOTS of tea parties
 and camp outs...
helped the girls with bulletin boards for Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes
lots of check-ups
 more camp outs...
My sister-in-law Becky had a birthday.  I baked her Ms. Kay's (from Duck Dynasty) banana nut cake.

I finally found time to make some laundry detergent.  And I am loving it!
Michael left a week before classes started so he could travel with a group of friends from college to NYC!
 more check-ups
Avery was so excited for her friends Aubree and Autumn to come home from church with her.  And it was a beautiful day for ice cream and a visit to the park.
Smocked dresses are my favorite on little girls!
That is my January in a nutshell.
