We went to see the Texas Rangers play with a group of friends from church back in June. We went to an afternoon game and it turned out to be pretty warm! But it didn't stop us from having a good time!
We stopped by On the Border to eat before the game. We waited for about 30 minutes or longer (after we sat down at the table) and still no food. So we offered to pay for our drinks and leave. The manager let us have them for free, so our waiter received a very good tip (it wasn't his fault). That is the first time we have ever received poor service there. It was probably due to the fact that it was the first weekend of summer, the Rangers playing at home AND George Strait playing across the street at the Dallas Cowboys stadium. Anyway, I am sure the hot dogs we ate at the ball park were just as good as the meal we would have ate at On the Border....ha

This has also been our only game we have been to this season. Maybe it's because they aren't very good right now? Maybe it's because I don't have the buy one get one free coupons this season? Or maybe it's just because we have a lot of things going on this summer keeping us busy. Maybe we will make it back to a game or two before the season is over.
