I took off on Friday to finish baking sweets for project graduation and to spend the day with Courtney. She was super excited about graduation, and modeled her cap and gown for me first thing that morning....just to turn on the water works.
After I finished getting all the goodies ready for project graduation, we went to China Star to eat lunch.
Then we went to Belk for some retail therapy. Courtney received a couple of Belk gift cards for graduation from some sweet ladies at church. She found two really cute (but too short) dresses.
My favorite was the first one. So of course she picked the second and third ones.
Then we headed to get massages!
Courtney's friend Jayde came over to see her before graduation. Jayde attends school at Chisum and her brother was graduating at the same time as Court, so she couldn't make it.

Courtney was an honor graduate. All the regular graduates get their diplomas first, and the honor graduates go last. And since Courtney is a "W" she was the last one to walk across the stage. After she received her diploma, she moved her tassel to the other side of her cap, and then all of her classmates moved theirs. She thought that was pretty cool.
What a bittersweet day! Congratulations Courtney Elizabeth Womack! We love you very much! Always keep God first and you will go far in life!!
